Gregor Siefer

Gregor Siefer (born October 9, 1928 in Berlin ) is a German sociologist .

Life

He received his doctorate in Hamburg in 1960 . From 1961 he worked at the Institute for Sociology at the University of Hamburg . After his habilitation in 1974 he was appointed private lecturer . He held a chair at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel in 1977. From 1977 to 1991 he was professor at the University of Hamburg.
