Gregor Zielinsky

Gregor Zielinsky (* 1957 in Wanne-Eickel ) is a German sound engineer .

After graduating from high school, Zielinsky studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold . He completed his studies with the protected title of "Diplom-Tonmeister". He then took up a position at Deutsche Grammophon , where he was employed until 2000. In 1992, Zielinsky was awarded a Grammy in the category of best technical classical recording for recording Candide with Leonard Bernstein in Abbey Road Studios . This is the highest international award that a sound engineer can receive. He is considered to be "a big player in the scene". He has been working for Sennheiser since 2000 .
