Gregory Paulger

Gregory Paulger is a UK EU civil servant . He is currently Director General of the Directorate-General Communication , which the Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship , Viviane Reding is assumed.

biography

Paulger began his career at the European Commission as a board member in the Administration and Innovation Directorates. After a post in the cabinet of Jean Dondelinger , then Commissioner for Information, Communication, Culture and Audiovisual Media, Paulger headed various units in DG X, today the Directorate-General for Communication. From 1999 he headed Viviane Reding's cabinet, who was Commissioner for Education and Culture at the time . From 2003 to 2005 he was Director of Directorate C (Culture, Audiovisual Policy and Sport) in Directorate General Education and Culture before moving to the head of Directorate A (Audiovisual, Media and Internet) of DG Information Society and Media . Most recently, he was Director for Youth and Sport in the General Directorate Education and Culture from 2011.

Paulger is married and has two children.
