Raptor Painter
The gripping Bird Painter ( English Griffin-Bird Painter ) was an Attic - black-figure vase painters. His works are dated to about the second quarter of the 6th century BC. Dated.
The bird of prey painter was a very productive vase painter, especially comast bowls . However, his pictures are mostly very fleeting and do not show any personal creativity. He mostly showed animal and plant ornaments, in his interior paintings he dispensed with creative border patterns. He got his emergency name from a monster on his name vase , a Komast bowl. This representation is also eponymous for a whole group of undemanding Corinthian bowls.
