The Ibrahim Khalil border crossing ( Kurdish Kumelgeha Derwazê Nîvdewletî Ibrahîm Xelîl , Arabic معبر إبراهيم خليل Maʿbar Ibrahīm Chalīl , also border crossing Chabur-Zaxo or Habur-Zakho ) is on the Turkish-Iraqi border on the Chabur ( Turkish Habur , Kurdish Xabûr ), a tributary of the Tigris . It is the only border crossing between Iraq ( Kurdistan Autonomous Region ) and Turkey .

To the north of the crossing, on the Turkish side, is the Habur Sınır Kapısı border station , and about 50 km to the northwest is the town of Silopi . To the east, about 30 km away, is the city of Zaxo in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region, Iraq. Based on the administrative structure of Iraq, this side is under the control of the autonomous region's own Kurdish security forces.

Around 6,000 trucks pass it every day. Due to the tension in the room, the transition is temporarily blocked or only accessible to a limited extent.
