The Grenzgraben is a flowing water in Bochum . It used to also manage sewage. A new stream bed was created for the border ditch between 2008 and 2009. The quality class was 2013 I – II. Renovation work has been carried out since 2013.
The brook carries water from a source in Höntrop west of the border road in Eppendorf , there is an inlet from the Südpark Wattenscheid area (by the swimming pool). The Grenzgraben is currently decoupled in the course of the conversion of the Emscher system , which means that the water temporarily ends in the mixed water collector.
