The Griebeler See northeast of the village Griebel in the municipality of Kasseedorf is a lake in Schleswig-Holstein . It is located in Holstein Switzerland and is surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape .

The Griebeler See has an elongated, oval shape that runs from the southwest to the northeast. To the northeast it is surrounded by steep slopes. In the south-west of the lake there is a silting area. Here you will find a wide belt of floating leaf plants that merges into a reed bed. This is followed by vegetation with gray willows, followed by an alder forest and a sedge meadow. The lake has an outflow over the salmon brook into the Neustadt inland water .

The lake may neither be fished nor driven on with vehicles. There is a swimming area on the eastern bank.
