Griffith Ridge is a 8 km long ridge in the Bowers Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises up in the confluence of the Champness Glacier in the Lillie Glacier .
It was mapped by surveying work by the United States Geological Survey and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Harry G. Griffith of the US Navy, who was responsible for public relations on the McMurdo Station in 1967 was responsible.
