Grigory Fyodorovich Resanov

Grigori Fjodorowitsch Resanow ( Russian Григорий Фёдорович Резанов ; * 1905 , † 1978 ) was a Soviet diplomat .

Life

In 1939, Resanov entered the service of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs of the USSR. From 1939 to 1941 he was head of the First Far Eastern Department in the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs of the USSR. From 1941 to 1943 he worked as counselor at the Soviet embassy in China . From October 1943 to May 1948 he was Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR in Colombia . From 1948 to November 1950 he was Deputy Head of the Latin American States Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR. From November 1950 to November 1956 he was the Soviet ambassador to Argentina . 1957/1958 he worked as an advisor to the commission on the publication of diplomatic documents at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR. From 1958 to 1969 he was Deputy Head of the Consular Section in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR. In 1969 he retired.

Resanov was a member of the CPSU .
