The Grikurov Point ( English ; Polish Przylądek Grikurova ) is a rocky headland of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the east side of the Fildes Peninsula , it is south of Lapidary Point on the banks of Ardley Cove before the entrance to Rocky Cove .
Polish scientists named it in 1984 after the Russian geologist Garrik E. Grikurow (* 1934).
