history
According to legend, the festival of the Knights of Grimme was on the Grimmstein. Today the remains of the foundation walls of a small castle can be seen. The destruction of the castle is possibly related to the fall of the burgraviate Dohna in 1402. In the 1960s, archaeological excavations were carried out and the foundation walls were partially exposed.
For the 800th anniversary of Reinhardtsgrimma in 2006, an information board was placed on the Grimmstein.
