Grith Ejstrup

Grith Ejstrup (born July 5, 1953 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish high jumper .

In 1971 she was twelfth at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Sofia and came in 18th place at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

The following year she was fifth at the European Indoor Championships in 1972 in Grenoble and twelfth at the Olympic Games in Munich .

A 15th place at the Indoor European Championships 1973 in Rotterdam was followed by a ninth place at the Indoor European Championships 1974 in Gothenburg. At the Euro 1974 in Rome and at the Euro 1978 in Prague, she was eliminated in the qualification.

She was Danish champion outdoors (1972–1975, 1977, 1978) and indoors (1971–1974, 1978, 1980) six times.

Her mother Birthe Nielsen took part in the 1948 Olympic Games as a sprinter .
