The Großabkaufverband Energie Baden-Württemberg e. V. (GAV) in Stuttgart is a cross-sector trade association that has specialized in the energy industry. The GAV represents the interests of the bulk buyers of the grid-bound energies electricity, natural gas and district heating

history

The association has existed since 1918. It was founded at that time by industrial companies that needed a knowledgeable and competent representative of their energy interests at the time of the development of electricity generation and distribution.
