Grossalm (Oberaudorf)

The Großalm is an alpine pasture in the municipality of Oberaudorf .

Six alpine huts in the western alpine pasture area of ​​the Großalm are under monument protection and are registered in the Bavarian monument list under number D-1-87-157-90 .

Building description

The six listed alpine huts of the western Großalm are two ground floor block buildings with flat gable roofs from the years 1762 and 1780; a ground floor, partly shingled flat saddle roof building from 1780; two ground floor wooden buildings with flat gable roofs from 1786 and 1800 as well as a ground floor wooden building with gable roof on a stone base from around 1800.

There are two more huts on the western Großalm and three on the eastern Großalm.

Todays use

The large community pasture is bumped and hosted.

location

The Großalm is located in the Mangfall Mountains north of the Brünnstein at an altitude of 1250  m above sea level. NN . The eight alpine huts of the western alpine pasture area are on the eastern slopes of the Brünnsteinschanze, the three huts of the eastern alpine pasture area are below the Fritzenwand, south of the Längaualm .
