The house at Große Diesdorfer Straße 64 is a listed building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located on the north side of Große Diesdorfer Straße in the Stadtfeld West district , on the north side of Beimsplatz, west of the confluence with Dehmbergstraße .

Architecture and history

The elongated house was built in 1906 by the building contractor August Eggers based on a design by the architect Gustav Richter . The building has a eineinhalbgeschossige in framework construction built jamb and gables . The villa-like house was built as a representative semi-detached house. The style of the building is based on the local art movement . Accordingly, the building has a rustic, rural design. Lattice windows were used on the ground floor. In addition, there are half-hip roofs and ornamental frameworks.

Two large apartments were set up inside the building.

The building is seen as defining the street scene and, in terms of urban planning, as the northern end of Beimsplatz.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82555 .
