Great Synagogue (Rădăuți)
The Great Synagogue in Rădăuți , a city in the Romanian region of Moldova in Suceava County , was built in the early 1880s. The synagogue on Straße des 1. Mai Nr. 2 has been a protected cultural monument since 2004 .
The building in the style of historicism with arched windows and two corner towers was ceremoniously opened on August 18, 1883, the birthday of Emperor Franz Joseph I. The furnishing of the time of construction with a Torah shrine has been preserved.
After extensive renovation work, the synagogue reopened on July 25, 2012.
