The Große Wilde , in the upper reaches of the Schmale Lude , is one of the source rivers of the Thyra . The Sprachenbach is a tributary in the upper reaches.

In the old town of Stolberg , the Thyra arises from the confluence with the two mountain streams Lude and Kleine Wilde .

The Riesch trench led 1745-1910 water from the Schmalen Lude in the sub-Harz pond and grave system where the Ludewasser the Möller pond was dammed and the water in the following shingle Briicher art trench could be passed.
