Großenmeer is a district of the municipality of Ovelgönne in the Wesermarsch district in Lower Saxony .
The place is southwest of the core town of Ovelgönne on the southeast running B 211 . North and east extending country road L 864. The location flowing cheese burger Sieltief (also: Olden Broker Sieltief ), a depth that serves to drain the predominantly marshy territory.

With the stations Ovelgönne, Strückhausen, Oldenbrok and Großenmeer, today's municipal area was connected to the Oldenburg – Brake railway line, which has now been closed, from 1896 to 1976 .
