The Käseburger Sieltief (also: Oldenbroker Sieltief ) is a watercourse in the Wesermarsch district in Lower Saxony . It is a depression that drains the predominantly boggy area.

The approximately 20 km long watercourse flows in the municipality of Ovelgönne and the city of Brake . It is created 500 m north of the peasantry moor side through the confluence of several ditches. From here it flows in a south-easterly direction through the village of Großenmeer , then further east, crosses under federal highway 212 south of Brake and finally flows into the Weser in the Brak district of Käseburg .
Protection status
Part of the Käseburger Sieltiefs lies in the landscape protection area " Teichfledermausgewässer bei Oberhammelwarden and Lienen ", which in turn is part of the FFH area "Teichfledermaus-Gewässer in Bremerhaven / Bremen".
