The large Kolpiner See, around 24 hectares in size and two meters deep on average, is located in the municipality of Reichenwalde in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg . The shores of the Großer Kolpiner See are mostly forested, southwest of the lake is the eponymous district Kolpin of the municipality of Reichenwalde and the Kleine Kolpiner See . Eel , perch , bream , pike , carp , roach , rudd , tench and pikeperch can be found in the Großer Kolpiner See .
