The 1954 Grand Prix of Agadir , also Grand Prix di Agadir, Morocco , was a sports car race for vehicles up to 2-liter displacement, which was held on a circuit in Agadir on February 28 of this year . The race was not part of any racing series.

The race

The Agadir Grand Prix was announced in 1954 as a sports car race for three racing classes. Not uncommon for the 1950s, the respective classes did not start together in one race, but at three independent events. Sports cars with a displacement of up to 1.1 liters were the first to drive. The Moroccan Jean Heyder-Bruckner remained victorious on a Reac Dyna .

After François Picard's success in the factory - Ferrari 500 Mondial in the race for cars up to 2-liter displacement, his team-mate Giuseppe Farina won the race over 2-liter displacement in the third race of the day .
