description

Grave 1

This complex has an approximately east-west orientated barren bed with a length of 26 m and a width of 5 m. At the time of the investigation, two stones were still preserved on the south side of the enclosure. In the middle of the bed is the burial chamber. It is an east-west oriented ancient dolmen with a length of 2 m, a width of 0.6 m and a height of 0.65 m. In 1950 there were still two wall stones on the long sides and one end stone each on the narrow sides in situ . The cap stones were missing. The two wall stones on the south side and the western wall stone on the north side were placed lengthways instead of on edge. The floor of the chamber was made of thin stone slabs and a layer of small stones on top. During his excavation, Aner was unable to find any remains or grave goods. Meanwhile, the condition of the grave seems to have deteriorated. The two surrounding stones have disappeared and apparently only one stone remains from the chamber.

Grave 2

This complex has an approximately east-west oriented megalithic bed, the dimensions of which cannot be precisely determined. In 1936 Ernst Sprockhoff was able to find nine enclosing stones on the southern and four on the northern long side and three on the eastern narrow side. The stones on the south side ran over a distance of 15 m. The burial chamber was a north-south oriented extended dolmen with a length of 1.5 m and a width of 0.7 m. In 1936 there were still two pairs of wall stones on the long sides and the northern end stone. The southern capstone and capstones were missing. The condition of this facility has also deteriorated further. There are now only a few enclosing stones left and the chamber can no longer be recognized.

Grave 3

This facility has a north-east-south-west oriented megalithic bed with a length of 15 m and a width of 6 m. The enclosure is no longer completely preserved. In 1936 Sprockhoff was able to make out eleven stones on the northwestern and seven on the southeastern long side and four on the southwestern narrow side. The bed contains two burial chambers, both of which can be classified as extended dolmens. The first chamber is about west of the middle of the bed and is oriented northwest-southeast. It has a length of 1.8 m and a width of 0.9 m. There are still two wall stones on the north-eastern and one on the south-western long side and the north-western end stone. The northwest stone on the southwest side and the southeast corner stone are missing. One of the two capstones has sunk into the interior of the chamber and one has been dragged to the southeast. The second chamber is located in the northeast of the bed and is oriented north-south. It has a length of 2 m and a width between 0.8 m and 0.9 m. Two pairs of wall stones have been preserved in situ on the long sides. The northern capstone has been dragged north, the southern one is missing. The chamber probably had only one capstone. This has been dragged to the southeast.
