Great stone graves near Stederdorf
The large stone graves near Stederdorf were several megalithic graves of unknown numbers from the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Stederdorf , a district of Wrestedt in the Uelzen district ( Lower Saxony ). They were destroyed in the 19th century. The graves formed two groups: one was east of Stederdorf in the direction of Esterholz , a second group of several large stone graves and burial mounds was north of the place on the east side of the road to Halligdorf . The graves were documented in the 1840s by Georg Otto Carl von Estorff , but not described in detail. No information is available on the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. The eastern group of graves was already destroyed by this time.
