Large stone grave Bevern

The large stone grave Bevern (also called Steinberg ) was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Bevern , a district of Bremervörde in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in the 19th century.

The grave was about 20 minutes southeast of Bevern in the heath.

description

Only very vague information is available about the grave. It had a very large capstone that rested on several wall stones. There were numerous other stones next to the burial chamber. The type of grave cannot be determined from this information.
