Gino Giovagnoli

Gino Giovagnoli (born April 18, 1951 in Faetano ) is a San Marinese politician . From October 2001 to April 2002 he was Capitano Reggente (Head of State) of San Marino.

Life

Giovagnolii is a member of the Partito Democratico Cristiano Sammarinese (PDCS). He was elected to the San Marinese parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale , on the list of the PDCS in 998 . In the 2001 parliamentary elections he was re-elected, in the 2006 election he ran again on the PDCS list, but failed to make it into parliament.

From October 1, 2001 to April 1, 2002 Giovagnoli was together with Alberto Cecchetti Capitano Reggente. He was Sindaco del Governo and a member of the Board of Directors of the Azienda Autonoma di Stato dei Lavori Pubblici (AASLP). In 2017 he became deputy chairman of the Commissione per l'Edilizia Residenziale (Housing Committee).

At the PDCS congress in 2013 he was elected to the party's Comitato dei Garanti.

In 2014 he ran for the list Il nostro Paese in the election of Capitano di Castello (Mayor) of Chiesanuova but lost to Marino Rosti. He has been a member of the Giunta di Castello (council) of Chiesanuova since 2014.

Awards

Giovagnoli was awarded the Grand Cross with Grand Chain of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic on March 11, 2002 .
