The large stone grave Blekendorf is a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Blekendorf in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . It bears the Sprockhoff number 208.

location

The grave is located west-northwest of Blekendorf in the forest of Großes Holz. There are several other large stone graves in the vicinity : 1.6 km to the north-northeast are the large stone graves near Futterkamp and 2.7 km to the southwest the large stone grave Wetterade .

description

The complex has a round mound with a diameter of about 18-19 m and a preserved height of 1.6 m. Most of the stones in the south and west of the enclosure have been preserved. A little south of the middle of the hill lies the destroyed burial chamber in a hollow . There are still four stones left that cannot be assigned with certainty. The dimensions and type of the chamber cannot be determined with certainty.
