Big stone grave Bockholt

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Bockholt was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Bockholt , a district of Soltendieck in the district of Uelzen ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in the 19th century. The grave was west of the place. It was documented in the 1840s by Georg Otto Carl von Estorff , but not described in detail. No information is available on the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. The signature of the card only shows that it had a rectangular barren bed .
