description

In 1931, Ernst Sprockhoff , when recording the large stone graves of Rügen, found an east-west oriented oval mound with a length of 20 m and a width of 18 m. A capstone with a diameter of 1.80 m was visible in the eastern part. Since the rest of the burial chamber was still completely underground, Sprockhoff could not make any statements about its appearance. When it was re-recorded in the 1960s, Ewald Schuldt was able to classify the grave as a large dolmen .
