The Großrolübbe large stone grave is a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Großrolübbe in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein . It bears the Sprockhoff number 217. The system was badly damaged in 1952/53. A follow-up archaeological investigation in 1955 produced few results.

location

The grave is located northwest of Großrolübbe in a field. The megalithic graves are located 2.9 km to the southwest near Flehm .

description

The heavily destroyed complex has a north-west-south-east oriented mound bed with a length of about 20 m. At the southeast end is the burial chamber , which is a dolmen . Only two wall stones and two cap stones remain. The original appearance of the chamber could not be reconstructed even after the excavation. The only finds from the chamber were two flint knives.
