Large stone grave Morzyca

The large stone grave Morzyca (also known as the large stone grave Blumberg ) was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Morzyca ( German Blumberg ), a district of Dolice (German Dölitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It was destroyed in the 19th century.

According to a report from 1826, the grave was about 1000 paces (approx. 750 m) southwest of Morzyca on the road to Pomietów (German Pumptow ), on the edge of a birch forest.

description

The facility was built on a flat ridge and had a long barren bed that stretched across the street "like a stone dam". There is no information on orientation or the exact dimensions of the bed. Nothing is known about a burial chamber .
