Great stone grave Wallen

The large stone grave Wallen (also called Heidenaltar ) was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Wallen , a district of Alfhausen in the district of Osnabrück ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in the 19th century. The grave was located northwest of Wallen on the Harlingsberg, roughly in the middle between the roads leading to Ankum and Bersenbrück . The complex had a small east-west oriented burial chamber with several wall stones and three cap stones. The exact type of grave cannot be determined with certainty based on this information.
