Gromada Tąpkowice

Gromada Tąpkowice was an administrative unit in the People's Republic of Poland between 1954 and 1972. The Gromada was administered by the Gromadzka Rada Narodowa whose seat was in Tąpkowice and consisted of 15 members. The Gromada Tąpkowice belonged to the powiat Będziński in the Katowice Voivodeship ( then Stalinogród ) it was formed from the previous Gromadas Tąpkowice and Niezdara and Ossy of the dissolved municipality of Sączów. On January 1, 1957, the Gromada was assigned to the Powiat Tarnogórski . With the municipal reform of 1972, the Gromada was dissolved on January 1, 1973 and the place Tąpkowice came to Gmina Tąpkowice .
