The Groupe Canam is a Canadian steel construction company based in Saint-Georges . Canam has 25 manufacturing sites in Canada and the United States and has additional plants in Romania and India. According to its own information, the company is involved in around 10,000 construction projects every year, for which the supporting structure is constructed , manufactured and erected. The projects include bridge construction, stadium construction and industrial construction. The company has been owned by the US private equity firm American Industrial Partners since 2017 .
