The Mursteinane ( Norwegian for brick ) are small rocky outcrops in the southern part of the Kraulberge in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They rise northeast of the Muren mountain .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1970 based on the name Muren (Norwegian for wall ).
