The Antonius mine is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the Hand district . On the basis of an application for mutation on November 20, 1863, a certificate of award was issued to Raseneisenstein on September 27, 1865 . The western part by hand was covered by the Antonius mine field . If you go about 200 m from the intersection of Handstraße / Dellbrücker Straße into Heinrich-Strünker-Straße, a narrow footpath leads west into a forest that is heavily overgrown with undergrowth. After approx. 150 m, an undulating terrain extends to the north, in which the site was located. Nothing further is known about the operating activities.
