Frieda pit

Dennert-Tanne Grube Frieda

Grube Frieda is a disused mine in the Harz region . It is located in the Luppbode valley in the Harz Mountains , between Treseburg and Allrode on the territory of the city of Thale . The pit has two mouth holes , in front of which the Bode-Selke-Stieg leads directly . The ore mine was in operation between around 1750 and 1850.
