The Rosalinde mine is a former non-ferrous metal ore mine in the Bensberg ore district in Overath . It was in the vicinity of the village of Rott in Vilkerath .

history

A first guess by the Altenberg company in a quarry on Huferberg for lead ore had already been made in April 1855, which was extended to cover and copper ores with a guess from February 21, 1868 . In the field inspection on March 31, 1868 and the subsequent final negotiation on June 14, 1868, the building was confirmed. On May 28, 1868 the award for the extraction of lead and zinc ores took place. In the files, the Rosalinde mine is listed under the " corridors not built " .
