Adele Sebastian

Adele Stephanie Sebastian (born August 14, 1956 ; † September 30, 1983 ) was an American creative jazz flautist who occasionally sang.

Sebastian became a member of the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra in 1973 , which was headed by Horace Tapscott . She played in this group until her death, was one of its central characters and was involved in eight albums of this Californian formation. In 1982 she released her only solo album Desert Fairy Princess . It can also be heard on albums by Rickey Kelley and Linda Hill. She died of kidney failure.
