The Sicilia mine was a mine near Waldgirmes (municipality of Lahnau ) in the Lahn-Dill district . The pit field was between Waldgirmes and Bieber in the area of the Schwarzbachtal.

The 393,340 Quadradlachter (approx. 822,080 m²) large pit field was awarded on May 24, 1870 to Carl Kinzenbach from Wetzlar for sulfur .
There are no known dismantling or construction activities. The small amount of sulfur did not allow any economic extraction.
