When expanding or building new traffic routes

In road and right of way, land acquisition is the purchase of land for the construction of traffic routes (e.g. Section 6 (1a) of the Federal Trunk Road Act or corresponding state law, e.g. Section 10 (2) of the Baden-Württemberg Road Act). When a new traffic route is built or expanded, it may be necessary to acquire additional land for road construction . The need for land acquisition is determined in the building planning (also with the help of the so-called land acquisition plan ) and assessed in monetary terms.
