Floor plans. Journal for Left Theory & Debate was a left-wing, cross-curricular journal from Vienna . It has been published quarterly since the end of 2001. In addition to sales outlets in political bookshops, the magazine could be subscribed to. All texts are also freely available on the Internet. Before the online offer was accessible under its own domain and website, it was on servers of the University of Vienna . It was published under the GNU Free Documentation License . In accordance with the federal law on the promotion of political education and journalism, the magazine received funding, in 2009 it was 3,822.35 euros.

Summer seminars were held from 2003 to 2011 inclusive. Members of the editorial team included a. Karl Reitter and Robert Foltin . The magazine cooperated with Linksnet .

The magazine was discontinued at the end of 2014 with number 52. A blog has been set up on the website.
