The school is located south of the historic old town of Quedlinburg in the Süderstadt district at the intersection of Rambergweg and Albert-Schweitzer-Straße . It is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The school building was built in 1888 in the style of late classicism . On the facade there are surfaces made of natural stone , which are framed by specific wall templates. In a round arch niche there is a depiction of the coat of arms, in another niche there is an inscription dating 1888 .
The school and today's secondary school Ernst Bansi, which is located further south, belonged to a teachers' seminar .
The enclosure consists of wrought iron bars belonging to the monument.
