The Grupo Especial de Operaciones Federales (GEOF) ( Federal Special Unit ) is a special unit of the Argentine Federal Police for the fight against terrorism . It was rebuilt in 1994 after the devastating bomb attack on a Jewish facility in Buenos Aires on July 18 of the same year.
