The Grusberg is a 383.0 m high elevation and marks the field boundary between Vitzeroda and Springen in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The Grusberg marks the western edge of the Frauensee forest , it has been used for agriculture and forestry for centuries. In the Middle Ages, a branch led across the mountain from the Hohen Strazza to Dorndorf (ravines in the area). You get to Springen via the K 106 district road.
