Gryneion ( Greek  Γρύνειον ), also Grynion ( Γρύνιον ) or Gryneia ( Γρύνεια ), was an ancient city in the Aeolian landscape on the northwestern Aegean coast of today's Turkey near the Temaşalik Burnu promontory.

She first appears in history as a member of the Delisch-Attic League in the 5th century BC. At the end of the Peloponnesian War , the city came under Persian rule. During the Alexanderzug , Gryneion was conquered and its inhabitants enslaved. In the Hellenistic period it was temporarily united with its neighboring city of Myrina . In the 3rd century BC BC Gryeion minted its own coins.

Gryneion was best known for its sanctuary of Apollo , which was also an oracle site . It stood on a promontory, but only a few remains have survived.

Finds from Gryneion, mainly ceramics, are exhibited in the Bergama Archaeological Museum .
