Gschwendt (municipality of Strobl)

Gschwendt is a village in the municipality of Strobl in Salzburg.

The village is located about 6 kilometers southeast of St. Gilgen and 4 kilometers west of Strobl . The Rotte Forsthub also belongs to the village .

Gschwendt is located on the south bank of Lake Wolfgang on the Zinkenbach peninsula , a flat alluvial cone of the Zinkenbach , which flows through the neighboring town of Abersee , where it forms the border between the communities of St. Gilgen and Strobl.
