Goblin ( 도깨비 Dokkaebi ) is a South Korean television series starring Gong Yoo , Kim Go-eun , Lee Dong-wook , Yoo In-na and Yook Sung-jae . It consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on tvN from December 2, 2016 to January 21, 2017 .

Kim Shin ( Gong Yoo ) is a goblin and protector of souls. He lives with an amnesiac grim reaper ( Lee Dong-wook ) who is responsible for deceased souls. Shin no longer wants to be immortal, but needs a human bride to end his long life. Ji Eun-tak ( Kim Go-eun ) is a high school student who remains optimistic despite her difficult life. She calls the goblin by chance and through various encounters, she falls in love with him. Sunny ( Yoo In-na ) is the owner of a Chicken Wing shop and is an intelligent and attractive woman who is loved by all men.
