Gudrun Osterburg

Gudrun Osterburg (born September 17, 1945 in Ponitz ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from school in 1962, Osterburg completed a commercial apprenticeship from 1962 to 1964 and worked in import and export from 1964 to 1970. She has been a housewife since 1970. Gudrun Osterburg is a Protestant, married and has one child.

politics

She has been a member of the CDU since 1976, where she has been chairwoman of the Frankfurt-Berg / Berkersheim district association since 1985 and deputy district chairwoman of the CDU Frankfurt from 1996 to 2004. Furthermore, she is involved in the medium-sized business association of the CDU and since 2002 a member of the state board of the medium-sized business association.

Ms. Osterburg was a member of the local council from 1985 to 1989, from 1989 to 1999 city councilor in Frankfurt am Main and from 1993 to 2001 a member of the regional planning assembly .

Since April 5, 1999, she has been a directly elected member of the Hessian state parliament for the constituency of Frankfurt am Main VI , where she has been chairwoman of the sub-committee for expellees, resettlers, refugees and reparations since April 5, 2003, as well as a member of the European committee, cultural policy committee, and prison sub-committee as well as the board of trustees of the Hessian state center for political education. In the state elections in Hesse in 2008 , she lost the constituency to the SPD candidate Andrea Ypsilanti and instead moved into parliament via her party's state list. In the new election in 2009 she was able to win back the constituency. On January 31, 2012, she resigned from her state parliament mandate.

Osterburg has been a member of the Representative Assembly of Frankfurter Volksbank eG since March 2004 .
