Guerlain Chicherit (born May 20, 1978 in Paris , France ) is an extreme skier and rally driver .

He is already a four-time ski-freeride world champion and was successful in 1999, 2002, 2006 and 2007. In 2002 Chicherit got into rallying and became French rally champion in 2002 and 2003 on a Citroën Saxo . In 2004 he received a works contract from Citroën and took part in the World Rally Championship . After winning the “Dakar Challenge 2005” in 2005, he was signed up by the X-Raid team and has been taking part in marathon rallies ever since . He contested his first Dakar Rally in 2006 in the BMW X3 and finished it in ninth place. He could decide a stage for himself. He also finished sixth in the UAE Desert Challenge . In 2007 he could not reach the finish line in the Dakar Rally. In the Morocco Rally , he was 14. The 2009 Dakar Rally ended it with co-driver Matthieu Baumel finished ninth in the standings. His best stage result was a third place.

In 2009, after finishing 9th at the Dakar in Argentina and Chile, he was able to take 3rd place at the OiLybia Rally. With a victory at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and also at the Transiberco, Guerlain won the 2009 FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies.
