Guermond II (Bethsan)

Guermond II (also Gremont de Bessan ; around 1220) was Lord of Bethsan in the Kingdom of Jerusalem .

He was the eldest son of Adam III. , Herr von Bethsan , from the French noble family Béthune from his marriage to Helvis von Milly . When his father died, before November 24, 1179, he inherited his reign Bethsan. In 1183, Bethsan was conquered by the Muslim Ayyubids under Sultan Saladin . In the period that followed, the crusaders did not succeed in regaining power.

In his first marriage he was married to Julienne, daughter of Rainald von Soissons, Marshal of Cyprus. With her he had two sons:
